New Brave Bison CEO to join earlier than expected as interim boss hands in resignation

Claire Hungate was due to take over in September, but that has now been brought forward to 1 August following the sudden departure of interim boss and chief financial officer Kevin Deeley

Digital media and social video broadcaster Brave Bison Group PLC (LON:BBSN) has confirmed that its new chief executive will take the reins earlier than expected following the sudden resignation of interim boss Kevin Deeley.

Brave Bison said Deeley, who is also the group’s chief financial officer, has tendered his resignation which has been accepted. He is expected to formally step down once the company has found his replacement.

New CEO Claire Hungate – appointed last month – was due to take over in September, but that has now been brought forward to 1 August.

“We are grateful to Kevin for his work as interim CEO and when he leaves it will be with our best wishes,” said chairman Robin Miller.

“We are entering a new era with the appointment of Claire, through her knowledge of the sector and contacts within the industry Claire is already well prepared to take the business forward when she joins us in the next few weeks.”

Deeley was put in temporary charge of the AIM-quoted firm back in January following the surprise departure of Ashley Mackenzie.
