Tidal power specialist Atlantis Resources PLC (LON:ARL) has met the its minimum subscription amount of £2mln through its bond launched with renewable–focused peer-to-peer lending platform Abundance Investment.

Strong demand has seen £2.6 mln, more than 52% of the maximum amount, subscribed to in the first week since launch. Subscriptions will continue up to a maximum of £5 mln.

Sound Energy PLC (LON:SOU) has told investors that the gas discovered in the Badile exploration well is likely to be “sub-commercial”. In a stock market statement, the company reported that the well was drilled down to a depth of 4,472 metres, with further significant gas shows observed along with water influx and losses of mud into what are believed to be fractures in the formation.
