Christopher Humphrey, former chief executive of Anite, will take over as chairman of Eckoh PLC (LON:ECK) at the company’s forthcoming annual general meeting.
He will succeed Chris Batterham, who has been non-executive chairman of the secure payments group since 2009.
"We are delighted to welcome Christopher to Eckoh. He is an excellent fit for us and we look forward to the experience and insight he will bring with over 30 years' board involvement,” said Nik Philpot, chief executive officer of Eckoh.
“He has worked with a range of technology companies including SDL, Aveva, Vitec and Anite, and has significant experience in various international markets, including the United States,” he added.
Philpot also paid tribute to outgoing chairman Chris Batterham’s “huge contribution” to the group’s run of uninterrupted growth.
Shares in Eckoh were up 0.22p to 46.84p on the announcement.
