Tel Aviv-based Elsight (ASX:ELS) was admitted to the ASX on Tuesday and will commence trading from Thursday, 8 June 2017 to join the likes of other Israeli tech firms on the ASX.
The encrypted communications company raised $5 million from an IPO at $0.20 per share.
Elsight's technology is designed for in-the-field communications and allows video and other data streams to be sent securely over multiple networks simultaneously.
It works by splitting the data into packages, encrypting these and then transmitting them via multiple networks and then reassembling it at the other end.
The company's ex-Israeli military founders Nir Gabay and Roee Kashi have already found military customers including SWAT, special forces and defence.
Most recently, Elsight's technology was used by Israeli police and security forces as part of their efforts to secure Donald Trump's visit to Israel, including the president's motorcade.
Elsight is already profitable, having made a net profit of $US98,000 ($131,000) for the full year to December 31 2016 and $US932,000 in revenue.
Elsight currently has customers in Israel, South Africa, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia.
The capital raised through the listing will go towards research and development, as well as marketing, as Elsight expands into other industries such as logistics, transport and media.
