Pizza franchise group DP Poland Plc (LON:DPP) has told investors it is trading in line with expectations, with a 21% increase in like-for-like system sales during the first quarter.
DP Poland, in a statement ahead of today’s annual general meeting, highlighted that it has opened eight new stores in the year to date, taking its tally to 43 stores across 16 towns and cities.

The company noted that there’s a pipeline of further store openings lined up for the rest of this year and 2018.
Peter Shaw, DP Poland chief executive, said: "2017 has started positively with 21% like-for-like System Sales growth in the first quarter.
“We have opened 8 stores to date in 2017, an unprecedented number in just over 4 months.
“We are continuing to identify a strong pipeline of store locations for further openings in 2017 and into 2018."
