Black Rock Mining appoints John de Vries as interim CEO

The company's world-class Mahenge Graphite Project in located in Tanzania.

Black Rock Mining (ASX:BKT) has appointed John de Vries as its interim chief executive officer, as the company commences a search for a permanent candidate for the position.

Current CEO, Steven Tambanis, has agreed to step down and will support the organisation through a transitional period.

Stephen Copulos, chairman, commented:

"We would all like to personally thank Steve Tambanis for his drive and energy to establish Black Rock Mining as the pre-eminent global graphite development opportunity."

Black Rock remains focused on the world-class Mahenge Graphite Project, and are now in the transition to developer and ultimately producer of graphite concentrate.
