Drinks company Distil plc (LON:DIS) said it expects its full-year results to be "slightly ahead" of market forecasts after achieving a 23% increase in fourth quarter revenue.
Shares rose 1.59% to 2.87p in early trading.
The group reported 25% rise in volumes in the final quarter, supported by demand for its Blackwoods gin and vodka and RedLeg Spiced Rum.
Blavod Black Vodka sales volumes also returned to growth primarily through duty free sales and a good performance in Eastern Europe.
Supermarket deal
Distil also announced another undisclosed major UK supermarket has picked up its RedLeg Spiced Rum and is expected to reach shelves next month.
"All of our key brands enjoyed good growth year-on-year during the fourth quarter despite lapping numbers which included Easter promotions in 2016,” said chairman Don Goulding.
“We continue to focus on brand building and distribution gains and are making very good progress.”
