Social video broadcaster Brave Bison Group PLC (LON:BBSN) has launched its very own football ‘super-team’ which it reckons will soon rival Premier League teams in terms of popularity.
Rebel FC will be made up of several big-name social media influencers, including YouTube star Callum Airey – A.K.A Calfreezy – who founded the team and has developed it alongside Brave Bison.
The AIM-listed firm said Rebel FC is “part sports digital media enterprise and part football team”, with the aim of creating entertaining content for football-obsessed millennials.
Fans will be able to follow the team on its journey as it takes on all manner of teams from across the footballing world. Programming will include everything from fly-on-the-wall dressing room drama to last-gasp goals.

“Rebel FC is a team of passionate football fans who instead of choosing the traditional route to the top in football, are rebelling against the system and taking a chance on a different way in,” said Airey.
“They're aiming high and committed to taking Rebel FC to the highest reaches of the footballing world."
Content from influencer football teams is one of the fastest-growing entertainment sectors on YouTube, Brave Bison said.
Rebel FC will also give Brave Bison the chance to try out the football pitch at its brand new, state-of-the-art Yellowstone Studios broadcasting facility.
The new football team isn’t the only football-related content the company produces. Its Slash Football network has thousands of followers, while popular YouTube football show ‘The Last 5’ has been recording at Yellowstone for the past month or so.
