Alcidion Group (ASX:ALC) and FUJIFILM have completed the delivery of intelligent Cardiovascular Information System (iCVIS) to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in Queensland, Australia.
iCVIS was developed by Alcidion for FUJIFILM and is built upon Alcidion’s Miya platform to address the clinical risk, workflow and logistical issues that are encountered in cardiology departments.
Alcidion’s iCVIS is a vendor-neutral scheduling, imaging, and reporting platform for use with all cardiovascular imaging equipment.
It is designed to enhance cardiology care and analysis using smart clinical informatics software, with the specific goals of improving workflow, clinician efficiency and patient safety.
The installation of iCVIS is expected to improve Sunshine hospital’s operations by providing a platform that can be used to centralise the disparate cardiology services into a single solution.
Earlier this month, Alcidion signed an agreement with the Little Company of Mary Health Care (Calvary) to assist the organisation with streamlining clinical coding and patient data across their facilities.
Calvary operates 15 hospitals, 15 retirement and aged care facilities and a national network of community care centres across six states and territories in Australia.
Under the agreement, Alcidion will provide analytical services for improved clinical coding, enabling Calvary to consolidate data from various clinical and non-clinical IT systems.
Alcidion’s share price increased 11% over the past month, last trading at $0.073.
