Rainbow Rare Earths bolsters board with senior non-exec

Rainbow raised US$8mln through an IPO in January and this should see it through to first sales revenues in late 2017.

Rainbow Rare Earths Limited (LON:RBW) has bolstered its board with the appointment of Atul Bali as its new independent non-executive director.

Bali, aged 45, is a corporate chief executive with extensive experience in tech, government contracting and regulated industries operating on all six continents, Rainbow added, and is currently deputy chairman of Gaming Realms.

Rainbow raised US$8mln through an IPO in January and this should see it through to first sales revenues in late 2017.

The junior has an offtake agreement with ThyssenKrupp for concentrate sales from its Burundi-based Gakara project.

Shares eased 3% to 10.3p.
