Intellectual property developer Tekcapital PLC (LON:TEK) said its medtech subsidiary Belluscura has made two product launches this week.
In the European Union, Belluscura has launched Slyde, a light and compact sled for moving its occupant safely down stairs or over rough ground in the event of an emergency evacuation.
Slyde is sold in two sizes with a range of accessories and is already on sale in the USA.
“Our first product, Slyde, is a good example of Belluscura's mission to provide premium medical device products at affordable prices, and we expect it to be widely adopted by hospitals, schools, hotels and rescue services,” said Stephen Applebee, Belluscura’s international director of global sales.
“We intend to use the expertise of local distributors in each region, starting in the European Union," he added.
Across the pond, the company has launched its Wire Caddy product in the United States.
The Wire Caddy is an innovative wire management system used in operating theatres of hospitals.
It was designed by interventional radiologist Dr Shaun Samuels to address unique challenges in complex surgical procedures, especially those involving multi-wire and multi-exchange cases.
