Forbidden Technologies hit by chief exec resgination

Some the biggest rises and falls in London at 12 noon: Beowulf, Duet Real Estate, Servision

Forbidden Technologies plc (LON:FBT) slid 10% to 8.75p as chief executive Aziz Musa unexpectedly resigned for personal reasons.

David Main, currently the chairman of the video editing tech group, will take over as interim CEO while the group looks for a new permanent replacement for Musa.

Ariana Resources plc (LON:AAU) is now regarding its Tavsan gold deposit in Turkey as more of a standalone heap leach mining operation than a satellite for Kiziltepe.

Tavsan is looking an extremely attractive low-cost and high-margin mining opportunity said Kerim Sener, Ariana’s managing director.

“Our management resource target at Tavsan is 300,000 oz gold of which at least 200,000 oz gold is targeted to be accessible via open pit mining methods.

“This would result in an increase in potential mine life by a further c.3 years to a total life of c.7 years, producing at a rate of approximately 30,000 oz gold per annum.”

Shares up 4% to 1.95p.

Shares in Bushveld Minerals Limited (LON:BVM) surged 11% as it welcomed Jaxson 640, its Black Economic Empowerment partner of choice, to Vametco, the vanadium mine owner Bushveld is in the process of acquiring.

Noon ...Beowulf Mining lower on more info suggestion for Kallak North

Beowulf Mining plc (LON:BEM) dropped 15% to 10.5p on news the Swedish mining inspector has invited it to supplement its existing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Kallak North iron ore deposit should it wish to do so.

The original EIA was submitted in April 2013 and supplemented a year later, but Beowulf is now reviewing it to determine if any further submission is required before the Mining Inspectorate sends all information to the Swedish National Heritage Board and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.

Duet Real Estate Finance Limited (LON:DREF) is to liquidate itself up now it received all anticipated proceeds from the sale of the Master Fund's portfolio. Shareholders have already been told they will get 6.23p per share and the directors believe there is no point in keeping the company going any longer. Shares tumbled 73% to 0.51p.

Mobile live video streaming specialist Servision Plc (LON:SEV) has raised US$2mln at a significant premium to the market price. A New York-based group of private investors – Cascade SVP – has agreed to subscribe for 14.1mln shares at 11.4p each; a 280% premium to yesterday’s close. Shares jumped 139% to 6.59p.

9.00am...Blue Prism leads tech charge as robotics orders surge

Robotics and artificial intelligence specialist Blue Prism (LON:PRSM) expects revenue this year will be materially ahead of expectations after a rash of new orders.

Over the year to October, the AIM-listed group picked up 83 new software deals, of which 49 were new customers.

Alastair Bathgate, chief executive, added the momentum had continued into the current financial year.

Shares rose 12% to 500p.

Retail software specialist OneView PLC (LON:ONEV) shot up 90% to 6.38p on a multi-million dollar agreement with existing client Discount Tire Corporation, the world's largest independent tyre and wheel retailer.

It is OneView's largest contract to date and comes with a material upfront payment, it said.

OneView will host Discount Tire’s in-store software platform for five years, with the contract set to provide 'a material uplift' to annual recurring revenues.

Also on the tech front, antennae maker MTI Wireless Edge Ltd (LON:MWE) was another big gainer on a US$1.8mln new contract win from an existing broadband customer. The contract will be fully delivered in 2017.

Dov Feiner, chief executive,said: “We are delighted with this order win which again highlights our advanced technology, capabilities and position in the broadband wireless access BWA market.”Shares rose 7% to 20.63p.

Lombard Risk Management plc (LON:LRM) rose 3.1% in early deals as it revealed increasing success in North America for its COLLINE collateral management system.

South Africa-focused gold miner Pan African Resources plc (LON:PAF) boosted earnings and said it would pay a record dividend even after a fall in production and small rise in costs in the first half. Shares rose 1.5% to 17p.

Renewable energy and forestry management firm Active Energy Group PLC (LON:AEG) said its wood fibre business in the Black Sea region had seen a slow-down in activity as a result of the military coup in Turkey in July 2016. AEG indicated revenues for this division in 2016 were down year-on-year though gross profits are expected to be up on 2015's levels.

Advanced Oncotherapy PLC (LON:AVO) has secured financing of up to £52mln to help fund the development of its LIGHT proton therapy system. The agreement with Dubai-based Bracknor Investment Group will see AVO issue a minimum of £13mln in convertible loan notes in tranches of £1.3mln each over the next 24 months. Shares eased 5% to 65p.

NetScientific PLC (LON:NSCI) investee company Vortex Biosciences has begun the commercial launch of its VTX1 Liquid Biopsy System. The fully-automated technology offers a breakthrough in early cancer detection in that it is able to collect circulating tumour cells (CTC) from the bloodstream that provide the tell-tale sign of the killer disease. Shares flat at 59.5p.

Mobile live video streaming specialist Servision Plc (LON:SEV) has raised US$2mln and at a significant premium. A New York-based group of private investors – Cascade SVP – has agreed to subscribe for 14.1mln shares at 11.4p each; a 280% premium to yesterday’s close. Shares jumped 130% to 6.32p.

Radiation detection specialist Kromek Plc (LON:KMK) has unveiled a new five-year contract to an unnamed US customer described as being in the homeland security marketplace. It is an existing customer, and the company said the contract is worth at least US$3.1mln. Shares rose 5% to 22.5p.

Ariana Resources (LON:AAU) PLC is now regarding its Tavsan gold deposit in Turkey as more of a standalone heap leach mining operation after analysing the latest exploration programme.

Savannah Resources Plc (LON:SAV) has raised approximately £2.24mln through an oversubscribed placing with a further £1mln pledged by its largest shareholder. Private investment trust Al Marjan intends to maintain its shareholding of 29.99% through a subscription at the placing price of 5.25p.
