DP Poland Plc (LON:DPP) told investors that like-for-like system sales rose by 27% through 2016.
The Domino’s Pizza franchiser added that total system sales were up 62% in 2016 compared to the year before, and it marks seventeen consecutive quarters of double digit percentage growth.
The company highlighted that sixteen new stores have been opened, with locations in ten new towns over the last thirteen months. The pipeline of store openings continues, with construction work presently underway.
Peter Shaw, DP Poland chief executive, says the step change in store roll-outs and system sales growth is set to continue through 2017 as the company will keep investing in real estate development, production capacity and warehousing.
"In 2016 12 new Domino's Pizza stores were opened and we welcomed 6 new sub-franchisees on board,” Shaw said.
“In the first 5 weeks of 2017 we opened 4 further stores. Of the 39 stores operating today 23 are operated by our 8 sub-franchise partners.
“We are now operating in 14 towns and cities and will see more added through the year.”
