Despite a flood at its fabric printing business in Lancaster in December 2015, performance last year at Walker Greenbank plc (LON:WGB) was in line with expectations.
The luxury interior furnishings group said group sales for the year to 31 January, which reflect the impact of the flood, are expected to be £92.4mln, up from £87.8mln the year before.
This year’s sales returns include sales of £7.3mln from the first 18 weeks of ownership of Clarke & Clarke.
The board said it is pleased with progress at Clarke & Clarke, which continues to perform in line with expectations.
During the year the company received a total of £15.3mln in insurance payments relating to the flood damage at its Standfast & Barracks factory and consequent loss of profits.
Standfast & Barracks is back in full production and the company's Milton Keynes warehouse is fully stocked with the company's printed textiles, the company said.
The construction of flood defences to protect the Standfast & Barracks factory was recently completed.
Shares in Walker Greenbank rose 2% to 206.5p on the news.
