Commentary around Thursday’s third quarter trading update from Vodafone Plc (LON:VOD) may well focus on possible corporate dealings in India.
In terms of financials, Deutsche Bank anticipates Vodafone will report €13.6bn of group revenue, with €12.3bn coming from services.
“Slowing headline group organic revenue growth in Q3 is hardly a positive catalyst and growth is likely to slow further in Q4 due to German MTR cuts and the leap year comparator,” Deutsche Bank analyst Robert Grindle said in a recent note.
Nonetheless, Deutsche still sees Vodafone as a ‘buy’ with a 285p price target, which suggests substantial upside to the current price of 193.75p.
