The company had recently shipped the first unit of its DroneGun drone jammer for the protection of a multi-hundred million dollar maritime asset.
The new demonstration is in partnership with a U.S. government organisation headquartered in a U.S. Mid-Atlantic state.
The demonstration will involve both drone detection and countermeasure capabilities of DroneShield’s products. The event will focus solely on DroneShield products.
Interestingly, the demonstration comes against the backdrop of ISIS revealing on 24 January 2017, for the first time, a video of its remote-controlled drone dropping a bomb on Mosul, Iraq.
A substantial number of U.S. government, military and security agency representatives are expected to attend the DroneShield demonstration, along with non-U.S. allied counterparts.
Last month, DroneShield sold its acoustic detection product to a distributor, for use by a national security agency of an Asian country.
The company has received unprecedented media and investor attention along with the recent product launches and sales, boosting its share price by about 46% in one month, to $0.41.
The upcoming product demonstration is expected to continue positioning DroneShield as a global leader in the drone security space.
