MaxCyte Inc. (LON:MXCT) said drug discovery and development companies are increasingly adopting its technology as it reported revenue growth in excess of 30% to US$12.2mln for the year just gone.

Horizon Discovery Group PLC (LON:HZD) said it expects to post an operating profit this year, building on its strong financial performance in 2016. In a trading update, the gene editing specialist said revenues for the 12 months just gone would be at least £24mln, representing growth of 19%.

Stem cells services provider WideCells Group PLC (LON:WDC) has inked two more outlying deals to take it into the rapidly expanding Brazilian cord blood banking market. Between them, the two new “reputable” storage and processing facilities have more than 5,000 high net worth clients on their books.

International staffing firm Empresaria Group plc (LON:EMR) said results for the year just ended will be slightly ahead of expectations. Adjusted profit before tax growth is expected to be up 23% year-on-year, representing a record profit level for the group.

Petrol station services group Kalibrate Technologies PLC (LON:KLBT) has lost out in the recent currency volatility, which along with some contracts being delayed has affected results.

Advanced Oncotherapy PLC (LON:AVO) has told investors that its distributor has no legal basis to cancel two purchase orders it made back in 2015. Sinophi Healthcare reportedly told AVO yesterday that it is terminating the two orders for LIGHT proton therapy units, originally made in the March and October of 2015.

Savannah Petroleum PLC (LON:SAVP) has announced the completion of a major 3D seismic acquisition programme in Niger. Data has been captured for an area spanning more than 800 square kilometres in the group’s R3 licence.

Ariana Resources plc (LON:AAU) has identified extensive new vein mineralisation at its Arzu Central gold project in Turkey. In a programme which hit mineralisation in every hole, among the best intercepts were seven metres at 4 grams per tonne gold and 27.51 grams silver.

LGO Energy PLC (LON:LGO) has provided investors with more details of its plans in Trinidad, where starting new drilling is a priority. The junior oil group has already secured approval to drill from the country’s national oil company, but, it requires permission from the forestry authorities to clear well sites.

Bezant Resources plc (LON:BZT) is to commission an independent scoping study at the tasty-sounding Choco gold-platinum project in Colombia. The group said the recovery analysis programme remains on schedule, and that initial surface and shallow pit sampling had been successfully completed.

Greatland Gold PLC (LON:GGP) is wasting no time moving forward with its Ernest Giles gold project in Western Australia. Having found two potential gold zones at the site from its last drilling programme, it is now preparing to explore the Empress gold target in the north-eastern portion of the licence.

Strategic Minerals PLC (LON:SML) has exercised its option to take a 50% stake in the Redmoor tin/tungsten project in Cornwall. It will pay around £840,000 for its shares, money that will be used by the joint venture at Redmoor for a drill programme.

Tower Resources PLC (LON:TRP) has completed the sale of Comet Petroleum Limited, owner of interests in the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR). Privately owned Red Rio Petroleum Ltd paid Tower a nominal £1 consideration for the deal, though it also grants the AIM quoted explorer a 10% royalty over future production from Comet’s interests in the SADR.

An arbitration tribunal has rejected a claim against Avesoro Resources Inc (LON:ASO TSX:ASO) related to the early building work on the New Liberty gold mine in Liberia. Contractor International Construction & Engineering (Seychelles) brought the action against Avesoro, which was then called Aureus Mining.
