Petsec Energy (ASX:PSA) is an energy play with existing cash flow from its U.S. assets, where it operates onshore Louisiana and in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
The company has also secured fully developed near-term production assets and development opportunities with existing infrastructure in the Republic Of Yemen.
Adding interest to Yemen, it is located on the Arabian Plate, and contains geology comparable to that of Saudi Arabia, comprising the equivalent petroleum systems.
Over half of the world's proven oil reserves are located in the Middle East.
Petsec's shares have more than doubled over the past 12-months.
