A glance at some of the stories on the Proactive newswire today

Satellite Solutions Worldwide Group PLC (LON: SAT), the global communications company, has negotiated improved terms on a satellite capacity agreement. The new commercial contract is with one of its key suppliers of satellite capacity, SES Techcom Services.

Biotech C4X Discovery Holdings plc (LON:C4XD) says its focus has shifted to creating high value pre-clinical drug candidates in a bid to drive revenue through early stage licensing deals. The firm, which is developing innovative drugs to treat a variety of illnesses, reported full year results today, to end July, which showed an increased spend in research and development along with a widened loss.

Tissue Regenix Group PLC (LON:TRX) has named Paul Devlin as its group finance director and company secretary. The regenerative medical devices company said Devlin brings a wealth of experience, having worked on both domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, business transformations, large and small scale business start ups, joint ventures and disposals throughout the last 20 years.

Amur Minerals PLC (LON:AMC) has bolstered the board by hiring a Russian expert as it continues to advance its huge Kun-Manie nickel project in the country's Far East. Ljupco Naumovski (known as 'Lou' or 'Louis') has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director with effect from Monday (January 2).

A leading small-cap broker said it is ‘nuts’ about Allergy Therapeutics plc (LON:AGY), which it reckons has the potential to double in value. Initiating coverage of the vaccines business, finnCap set a price target of 40p a share based on its analysis of the company’s peer group. Currently, the stock is changing hands for just over 20p.

Security technology group Digital Barriers Plc (LON:DGB) shares advanced more than 7% in early deals after it unveiled US$6mln of new contract awards. A major US Federal law enforcement agency has, under an existing framework, taken a US$6mln contract for specialist surveillance equipment from one of the group's strategic partners, which this agency uses alongside its install base of Digital Barriers technology.

The gas storage specialist InfraStrata PLC (LON:INFA) has secured its immediate financial future after negotiating a £300,000 loan deal with fellow AIM-listee Baron Oil (LON:BOIL). The 12-month facility, which carries a 6% interest rate on drawn funds, will cover the firm’s working capital requirements.

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited (LON:GKP) has been named by Peel Hunt as one of the possible takeover targets for 2017 in the oil and gas sector. The Kurdistan based oil producer – which was recently rumour to be the subject of Chinese takeover interest - is one of five companies deemed by Peel Hunt to have a sensible mix of asset quality and balance sheet strength.
