Procter & Gamble downgraded to hold by SunTrust

Procter & Gamble was downgraded from Buy to Hold by brokers SunTrust Robinson Humphrey on Thursday

Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG), the maker of Gillette and numerous household detergent brands, was downgraded from Buy to Hold by brokers SunTrust Robinson Humphrey on Thursday.

The consumer goods behemoth’s 12-month share price target was also clipped to $85.00 from $95.00.

The news came just two days after another broker, Stifel, downgraded P&G to a Hold from a Buy and trimmed the price target to $86 from $88.

But P&G shares spent most of the session higher on the day, and headed towards the close up 0.3% at $84.57 on Thursday.
