The latest results from a single drill hole at the Discovery Zone indicates gold mineralisation over a 23.5 metre interval, including 9.4 metres at 1.5 g/t gold and 3.5 metres at 2.1 g/t gold.
The Discovery Zone gold mineralisation remains open to the northeast, southwest and is open down dip.
These new drill results at the Discovery Zone are located 1.3 kilometres southeast of high-grade, near surface gold intersections previously reported at the Kuzey Zone, which includes:
- 3.5 metres at 5.5 g/t gold from surface;
- 9 metres at 5.2 g/t gold from surface; and
- 7.8 metres at 7.3 g/t gold from 3.3 metres depth.
The gold mineralisation at Kuzey Zone remains open to the north and east and also to the south.
Zenith is planning a program in 2017 to scope out the potential size and grade of the gold mineralisation discovered at Kavaklitepe.
