Bosses of Tesla Motors Inc, Uber and PepsiCo to join Trump's talking shop

The high-powered group will meet regularly to provide input on job creation

President-elect Donald Trump continues to stuff his advisory team with chief executives from industry, with Tesla boss Elon Musk the latest to sign up.

The founder and chief executive officer of Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) will sit on a panel that will meet regularly to provide input on job creation and the generation of economic growth.

Travis Kalanick, the boss of taxi-hailing app firm Uber, will also be on the panel, which is led by Stephen Schwarzman, the chief executive of fund manager Blackstone, as will Indra Nooyi, the boss of soft drinks firm PepsiCo.

“My administration is going to work together with the private sector to improve the business climate and make it attractive for firms to create new jobs across the United States from Silicon Valley to the heartland,” Trump said.
