Shares in Creo Medical Group PLC (LON:CREO) got off to a jaunty start on their first day of dealings on Friday.
In mid-morning trade, shares of the Chepstow-based medical device company were quoted at 80.5p, compared to a flotation price of 76p.
Creo is focused on the development and commercialisation of minimally invasive surgical devices, initially in the area of gastrointestinal (GI) surgery and lung cancer.
Its CROMA surgical system combines bipolar radio-frequency for precise localised cutting and microwave energy for controlled coagulation.
The company raised £20mln of fresh capital through its listing, placing shares at 76p each.
