Silver Mines delivers grade and width from drilling at Bowdens

Silver Mines (ASX:SVL) has an extensive 38,000 metre drill program underway at the Bowdens Silver project located near Mudgee in New South Wales.

Bowdens is the largest undeveloped silver deposit in Australia, and one of the largest globally, with a resource of 134 million silver ounces, or 182 million silver equivalent.

The second diamond hole was designed to test and confirm silver-rich mineralisation in the northern portion of the current known resource, and delivered several high-grade silver intersections.

Highlights include: 124 metres at 85g/t silver, 0.19% zinc and 0.20% lead (95 g/t silver equivalent) from 118 metres.

News flow will continue at speed, with results pending from an additional nine holes.

Two rigs are active.
