Royal Road Minerals Limited (CVE:RYR) said in its investor newsletter that the scout drilling program at La Golondrina is nearing its end.
The drilling has not been easy going for the team, with work taking place over a 24-hour shift, often under wet conditions.
Analytical results are awaited from SGS laboratories in Medellin, Colombia, Royal Road told investors.
Meanwhile, Royal Road has filed further exploration concession applications over the western Cordillera of Nariño Province down to the Ecuador border. Applications now total some 162,000 hectares.
Work has started on reviewing known and operating occurrences from within these application areas, and adjacent to them, with a view to establishing exploration joint ventures with local miners and cooperatives.
“We have also commenced discussions with the government and with commercial partners over the establishment of a Private Public Partnership wherein Royal Road and commercial partners will cover the entire region with detailed airborne geophysics in return for the government’s support on pre-survey community consultations and the brokering of exploration joint-ventures,” Royal Road said.
