Futura Medical plc (LON:FUM) noted on Wednesday that shareholder Octopus Investments Nominees Limited has lifted its stake in the group to over 8%.
Previously, it had held around 4.5% of the firm.
It now holds around 9.6 mln voting rights, or 8.01%.
Earlier this month, the group's erectile dysfunction treatment MED2002 was proved to be more effective than even the business itself first thought.
Even in patients with more severe ED, the gel treatment will have an effect within ten minutes, and even sooner for most men.
“What we’ve now found is that [the treatment] is faster than we originally thought,” James Barder told Proactive.
Futura shares eased 0.42% in afternoon deals.
