Westminster Group PLC’s (LON:WSG) ferry division, Sovereign Ferries, is preparing to start its ferry service in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
In-country registration formalities, sea trials and international safety compliance checks have all been completed.
Proving passages are now underway and timetables are being finalised to co-ordinate with airline schedules, which will be displayed on the Sovereign Ferries website in due course.
Formal commencement of services will begin following VIP and ministerial voyages later this month ready for the heightened December passenger flows.
