Dekeloil appoints new head of Ivory Coast subsidiary

Vince McAleer will take over as the chief executive of subsidiary Dekeloil Côte d'Ivoire on 16 November

DekelOil Public Limited (LON:DKL) has announced a change at the top of its palm oil operation in the Ivory Coast.

Vince McAleer will take over as the chief executive of subsidiary Dekeloil Côte d'Ivoire on 16 November, replacing Eyal Timmor who is moving on to other things.

McAleer has more than 25 years' experience in tropical agriculture, processing and trading and most recently was CEO of the African Agriculture Fund's palm oil platform.

Dekeloil is the 85.75% owner and operator of the Ayenouan palm oil project.

Executive director Lincoln Moore said: "The appointment of Vince as CEO of our subsidiary in Côte d'Ivoire represents the culmination of a six month process to find the right candidate with the relevant experience and expertise to perform this important role.”
