Vast Resources PLC (LON:VAST) said Brian Moritz, a veteran accountant and corporate finance specialist, will become chairman of the firm until its AGM on November 16, the miner said.
It comes after the firm said current chairman William Battershill will be retiring as director at the meeting by rotation and will not be offering himself for re-election.
Moritz was appointed to the Vast board on October 3 this year.
The AGM will be held at 2.30pm on November 16 in London.
