Family issues prompt resignation of Brave Bison COO

Richard's "difficult decision to step down as COO" comes at a "hugely exciting time for our business and industry", said CEO Ashley Mackenzie

Richard Mansell, chief operating officer of digital media and social video broadcaster Brave Bison Group PLC (LON:BBSN), has stepped down from the role.

Mansell has resigned from the board “for private family reasons”, the company’s stock market statement revealed. He will continue to work with Brave Bison on various projects.

His responsibilities as chief operating officer will be shared between the chief executive officer, chief financial officer and various other managers and leaders within the company.

The company continues to trade in line with management expectations, it told investors.

Shares in Brave Bison dipped one-eighth of a penny to 4.75p on the news.
