St George Mining Ltd reveals positive test work from Mt Alexander

Preliminary metallurgical testwork on a sample of massive nickel-copper sulphide indicates that Mt Alexander will produce a high value saleable concentrate.

St George Mining Ltd (ASX:SGQ) has revealed positive metallurgical results from the high grade nickel-copper sulphide project at Mt Alexander in Western

Australia.

From the Cathedrals Prospect, metallurgical flotation test work recovered nickel and copper to bulk concentrate exceeded 99%.

This demonstrates the exceptional amenability of the Mt Alexander massive sulphide to flotation.

There was also nickel recovery of 89.4% with an 18% nickel concentrate produced (>13% nickel is considered saleable concentrate).

John Prineas, executive chairman, commented:

"The initial metallurgical testwork confirms that the mineralisation from Mt Alexander is amenable to commercial processing and is likely to produce a high value, smelter-friendly concentrate.

"These excellent results continue to support the favourable economics of a potential mining operation at Mt Alexander."
