Eurasia Mining plc (LON:EUA) shares doubled as the Russia-focused junior unveiled a massive deal with Chinese major Sinosteel to develop its Monchetundra platinum project on the Finnish border. The contract is for the development of two platinum deposits and a 1.7mln tonnes per year beneficiation plant.

Scancell Holdings Plc (LON:SCLP) shares rose 6% after it said it is deploying a drug candidate that uses the body’s immune system to fight disease in the battle against lung cancer. The AIM-listed researcher’s discovery, called SCIB2, will be used in a phase I/II clinical to help patients with non-small cell lung cancer.

Metal Tiger PLC (LON:MTR) said its T3 copper discovery in Botswana has demonstrated good value for a modest spend. The prospect is 30% owned by Metal Tiger and 70% by Aussie-listed partner MOD Resources and has been taken to a JORC resource of 350,000 tonnes of copper in just six months.

MySQUAR Ltd (LON:MYSQ) has welcomed the lifting of US sanctions on Myanmar. MySQUAR's chief executive, Eric Schaer, said: "The lifting of sanctions goes even further than we had hoped and is effectively comprehensive.

“This changes the whole economy of Myanmar going forward and enhances the financial outlook of the company.

Allergy Therapeutics plc (LON:AGY) said that a subsidiary company has found a way of potentially improving the efficacy of the malaria vaccine.

It uses what’s called an adjuvant, which enhances the body’s immune response to an illness or disease.

WideCells Group PLC (LON:WDC) has finalised the details of its new insurance scheme, CellPlan, a product it expects to revolutionise the stem cell storage business.

Unveiled in May, WideCells worked on the terms and conditions with Best Doctors, a global leader in expert medical opinion, with the cover to be underwritten by a leading reinsurance company.

The string of contract wins announced recently by Corero Network Security PLC (LON:CNS) continued on Monday morning with the latest award worth US$300,000.
