Major share price risers and fallers at 4pm

RISERS

URU Metals Limited (LON:URU) up 48% to 0.63p. Company said it knows of no reason for the share price rise.

Nu-Oil and Gas PLC (LON:NUOG) up 35% to 0.53p. Exercise of number of warrants and director share sale following landmark deal with Aibel earlier in the week.

FALLERS

Brammer PLC (LON:BRAM) down 30% to 87.8p. Distributor warns that sales of bearings and power transmissions have fallen. It is planning a £100mln rights issue and has axed the final dividend.

Sports Direct International PLC (LON:SPD) down 13% to 262.7p. Troubled sportswear retailer has been hit by flash crash, which it said will cost it £15mln and up to a further £20mln if the pound stays at a value of US$1.20.

RISERS

Mercom Capital PLC (LON:MCC) up 53% to 9.55p. Fund manager Calvert International has built up a stake of 8.5% according to a statement today. Two days ago investment company Mercom said there was no operational or corporate reason for recent rises in the share price.

Future PLC (LON:FUTR) up 10% to 9p. Trading at the specialist magazine group is on track though CMA, the competition regulator, has called a halt to its acquisition of Imagine Publishing due to worries over Sci-Fi magazines Sci-Fi Now and SFX.

XP Power Ltd (LON:XPP) up 4% to 1,730p. Revenues for the nine months ended September increased by 13 to £92.6mln. Order intake hit a record at £34.2mln in its latest quarter.

FALLERS

Progility PLC (LON:PGY) down 42% to 1.5p. Annual losses double to £3.84mln, though operating losses and revenues rose to £62.5mln. Future prospects are expected to improve.

Nanoco Group PLC ( LON:NANO) down 9% to 57.92p. Quantum dots specialist has tweaked its revenue recognition. Grants will now be shown as other income and upfront licences will be recognised over period Nanoco gives support. Revenue in 2016 is £0.4mln, other income £0.3mln with £1.2mln in deferred revenue.

Cluff Natural Resources PLC (LON:CLNR) down 7% to 4.54p. Company has dropped out of a venture for the Skerryvore exploration prospect in the Moray Firth area of the North Sea, but could go back for the assets directly.

RISERS

Armadale Capital PLC (LON:ACP) up 23% to 3.67p.High grade graphite flake found close to the surface at its Mahenge Liandu project in Tanzania.

Draganfly Investments (LON:DRG) up 18% to 1.3p. Company has made its first investment following recent fund raise with a £600,000 convertible term loan to technology development outfit AltEnregis.

EKF Diagnostics PLC (LON:EKF) up 15% to 16.82p. Point-of-care company says trading in third quarter was materially higher than budget and market forecasts. Company also expects to be cash positive within the next 12 months.

FALLERS

Tern PLC (LON:TERN) down 31% to 8.05p. Company carries out oversubscribed placing to raise £2.55mln at 7p to invest in internet of things security business Device Authority.

Defenx plc (LON:DFX) down 9% to 89.9p. Mobile security firm is to raise £1.5mln through a subscription at 80p per share to fund development of its software.
