Risers and fallers: Charlemagne Capital, Xcite Energy, Zamano...

Charlemagne shares jumped after it declared a special interim dividend

RISERS

Xcite Energy Ltd (LON:XEL), up 61% to 1.95p. Said this afternoon that the bondholders of the US$135mln senior secured bonds have agreed to extend the maturity date until 31 October.

Independent Resources plc (LON:IRG), up 14% to 0.1p. Announced it had paid US$100,000 to Transglobe as “full and final settlement” of a US$2.5mln loan note.

Charlemagne Capital Limited (LON:CCAP), up 12% to 13.5p. Declared a special interim dividend of 3p per share despite swinging to a loss in the first six months of 2016.

FALLERS

Zamano Plc (LON:ZMNO), down 32% to 7p. Told investors that changes introduced by mobile network operators will “significantly impact” the firm from 1 November.

Origo Partners PLC (LON:OPP), down 18% to 1.75p. Said its cash resources “remain limited” and was “cautious” about short-term prospects for divestment.

Ncondezi Energy (LON:NCCL), down 13% to 5p. A former employee has notified the company that they intend to exercise their 450,000 share options previously awarded to them.

RISERS

China New Energy Limited (LON:CNEL), up 20% to 1.8p. It has the right to take a minor stake in a consortium which has just acquired 75% of a Sierra Leonean bioenergy firm.

Zambeef Products PLC (LON:ZAM), up 9% to 16.6p. Favourable exchange rates means it expects reported profits for the year to be “materially higher” than current expectations.

Onzima Ventures PLC (LON:ONZ), up 8% to 1.35p. Halved its losses in the six months to June and still invested in developing its portfolio.

FALLERS

Zamano Plc (LON:ZMNO), down 34% to 6.75p. Told investors that changes introduced by mobile network operators will “significantly impact” the firm from 1 November.

Alecto Minerals PLC (LON:ALO), down 22% to 0.08p. The company is raising £600,000 through a share placing at 0.075p, a slight discount to this morning’s opening price.

Strat Aero PLC (LON:AERO), down 20% to 0.6p. Net losses almost doubled to US$2.1mln in the six months to June.

Charlemagne Capital Limited (LON:CCAP), up 12% to 13.4p. Declared a special interim dividend of 3p per share despite swinging to a loss in the first six months of 2016.

Treatt PLC (LON:TET), up 11% to 210p. Trading has been strong over the past year and, as a result, expects profit before tax to be “comfortably above” its previous guidance.

Rurelec Plc (LON:RUR), up 9% to 1.22p. Moved into the black in the first half after benefitting from the weaker sterling.

FALLERS

Visilink PLC (LON:VLK), down 46% to 8.7p. Swung to a loss in the ix months the end of June after seeing a fall in orders and revenues, while net debt rose sharply to £8.8mln.

Independent Oil & Gas PLC (LON:IOG), down 37% to 17.25p. Considering the commerciality of its Skipper discovery after sample results were at odds with previous observations.

Kemin Resources PLC (LON:KEM), down 26%. Has decided to suspend further exploration work until it gets approval for the licence extension in relation to its Drozhilovskoye deposit in Kazakhstan.
