Shares in Inspiration Healthcare Group plc (LON:IHC) fell as the global medical device company said a lag in improving product ranges had held back sales.
The stock dropped 7p, or 9.9%, to 64p as Inspiration reported an overall 10% rise in sales to £7.1mln in the six months to July 31.
But it said operating room sales for its Inditherm Alpha range showed an expected decline as it had not yet completed product range improvements.
“During the next financial year we expect to have re-engineered the offer both commercially and technically and remain confident in the potential for this sector,” the group said.
The group completed the reverse takeover of Inditherm PLC on June 24 last year.
Operating profit on a pro-forma basis rose 12% to £600,000. Pre-tax profits came in at £448,000 from a loss of £747,000 a year ago.
Cash stayed strong, ending the half-year at £3mln from £2.3mln at the end of January.
