Walkabout Resources Ltd (ASX:WKT) has appointed the experienced Trevor Benson as non-executive chairman, with immediate effect.
Benson is an investment banker and has specialised in cross border transactions within the natural resources sector across China and SE Asia, and has been an adviser to Chinese State Owned Enterprises (SOE’s).
He also brings cross-border experience on the AIM market in the United Kingdom, and has also listed numerous ASX companies including resources companies with assets in Africa, Europe and SE Asia.

Lindi Jumbo Graphite Project
The company has a 70% interest in a total exploration area of 325 square kilometres in southeast Tanzania.
Recent test work at Lindi produced a super jumbo, high margin graphite concentrate containing up to 25.7% super jumbo flakes and grades up to 98.85% total graphitic content.
These verified results place the project in a high class of revenue per tonne of saleable concentrate.
