Ubiquitous PC chip maker Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC) shares were higher on Friday after the company raised its third-quarter revenue outlook.
Intel raise the outlook to $15.6bn, plus or minus $300mln, from the previous range of $14.9bn, plus or minus $500mln, based on restocking of the PC supply chain inventory.
Intel also noted some signs of improving PC demand.
Shares traded 2.6% higher at $37.49 late on Friday.
