Sound Energy PLC’s (LON:SOU) Morocco gas field has “multi Tcf” potential, the company said Thursday as it revealed plans for a third company-drilled well on the site.
In layman’s terms, any discovery that runs into the trillions of cubic feet (Tcf) of gas is an internationally significant discovery.
In other words, intellectual property specialist Tekcapital PLC (LON:TEK) has picked up the rights to Wire Caddy from medtech giant Stryker Corporation (NYSE:SYK).
Tekcapital’s subsidiary Belluscura has acquired the exclusive licence and related manufacturing assets for the distribution and sale of the Wire Caddy, a proprietary wire management system that provides lubrication and organisation during multi-wire, multi-exchange operating room cases such as cardiology interventions.
Over at Lekoil Ltd (LON:LEK), it has increased the size of the second tranche of its financing facility with FBN ahead of commercial production in Nigeria. The facility is now N4.5bn (US$14.8mln) from N2.5bn.
It expects commercial operations to begin at the Otakikpo field to start within the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, Eurasia Mining plc (LON:EUA) should see first revenues this month (September) after mining begun at its West Kytlim platinum project in Russia, it told investors in its half year results.
As reported last Friday, the Ekaterinburg refinery had accepted the first batch of platinum concentrate, which will be refined and then purchased as per previously agreed terms.
Over at Jubilee Platinum (LON:JLP), it lifted earnings and revenues from its tailings operations in South Africa as chromite production at the Dilokong mine picked up.
Some 8% more chromite concentrate was produced in August at 10,430 tons compared to the previous month.
Elsewhere, dual-listed Horizonte Minerals Plc (LON:HZM, TSE:HZM) has kicked off social and environmental base line data collection on its recently acquired Glencore Araguaia project (GAP).
The GAP is the nickel project adjacent to Horizonte’s own Araguaia project in north central Brazil; together, the amalgamated projects will form one of the largest nickel saprolite assets in the world.
Next, Asiamet Resources Limited (LON:ARS) continues to be encouraged by feasibility study drilling at the Beruang Kanan Main in Indonesia, which could lead to stronger economics than the preliminary economic assessment showed.
The firm said 38 holes had now been completed, while two are now in progress. Results show shallow grade mineralisation continues.
Goldplat has completed the farm-out of the majority of the Anumso gold project in Ghana.
Canada-listed Ashanti Gold (CVE:AGZ), formerly Gulf Shore Resources, can acquire 75% of Goldplat’s (LON:GDP) current 90% stake if it spends US$3mln on exploration.
And finally, digital marketing specialist Be Heard Group PLC (LON:BHRD) said its half year numbers were in line with its expectations as it continues to look to bring in targeted partner companies.
The period to end June saw it raise £8.1mln, meaning it is now cash positive. It also acquired its second partner - the design and build agency MMT.
