European Wealth Grouphas acquired CIMCO Partners Management Limited, ATTRAQT Group reports a boost to sales, and Westminster Group's ferry heads off on its maiden voyage.

Lombard Risk Management plc (LON:LRM) has released an easy to use “out of the box” collateral management system backed by its heavyweight COLLINE platform.

The new cloud-based AgileCOLLATERAL product is targeted at asset managers, buy-side brokers, pension funds, corporates and investment firms that need to monitor, track and value the funds put up as collateral for a trade, such as highly geared derivatives position.

In other news, the first tender of diamonds in Antwerp to be held by Diamondcorp Plc (LON:DCP) is just four days away, with results expected on 20 September.

The company made the announcement on issuing financial results for the six months to June 2016 which showed losses at just under £250,000, as compared to £3.15 mln during the corresponding period a year ago.

Over at European Wealth Group Ltd (LON:EWG), it has acquired CIMCO Partners Management Limited - which manages the Gibraltar-based G20 Absolute Return fund – for up to £750,000.

The group has entered into a binding share purchase agreement with the lead investment director of G20, Michael Mechas.

Meanwhile, continued traction of its head lice shampoo Vamousse saw TyraTech Inc (LON:TYR, LON:TYRU) post a 31% increase in sales in the first half to the end of June against the same period last year.

Gross product sales increased 21% to US$4mln against US$3.3mln in the same time in 2015, the life sciences group said.

Elsewhere, ATTRAQT Group plc (LON:ATQT) has reported a strong pick up in sales that has continued into the second half of its trading year.

The retail web site build specialist saw sales rise 25% to £1.7mln in the six months to June as 18 new clients signed, including JoJo Maman Bebe and LK Bennett, to make 120 in total.

Over at Rare Earth Minerals plc (LON:REM) it has revealed that cost estimates at the Cinovec lithium-tin project in Czechoslovakia have been significantly reduced.

Rare Earths holds a 16.4% stake in European Metals Holdings Limited (LON:EMH), which owns Cinovec.

Next, Allan Wood will become chairman at Venn Life Sciences Holdings plc (LON:VENN) on September 20, replacing Tony Richardson, CEO, who has been acting as executive chairman since the beginning of the year.

Richardson told investors: "I am delighted to welcome Allan to Venn. Allan has extensive relevant experience in scaling businesses in health services and related sectors and I believe will add significant value as we seek to continue our current growth trajectory.

Life sciences group ValiRx Plc (LON:VAL) has told investors that its lead compound VAL201 continues to perform well in the Phase I/II clinical trial it is currently undergoing.

The company confirmed back in June that VAL201 – a potential treatment for prostate cancer – was well tolerated and had shown a high degree of safety.

And finally, press and dignitaries attended on Friday when Westminster Group PLC's (LON:WSG) 70 seater ferry 'Sierra Princess' successfully made her first voyage.

The event was on September 9 at the firm's Kissy terminal in Sierra Leone and was witnessed also by the Sierra Leone minister of transport and aviation and various senior government figures.
