Dicker Data Ltd (ASX:DDR) has been appointed Microsoft Indirect Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) for Australia and has reaffirmed its pre-tax operating profit of $35 million for FY2016.
The company has seen strong results from its New Zealand business in the CSP program and will be looking to utilise their knowledge to replicate the success into the Australian market.
The program is relevant, particularly for resellers who are transitioning end-users to predictable subscription and consumption based billing programs.
Dicker Data is now able to provide Australian reseller partners with access to every Microsoft licensing program available through Microsoft’s standard commercial distribution channels.
The company is growing at double digit pace, posting a revenue of $590.3 million for the six months ended 30 June 2016 (1H 2016), a growth of 11.1% compared to the same period in 2015.
Dicker Data earned an underlying net profit after tax of $12.6 million in 1H 2016, up 13.2% compared to 1H 2015.
The company has consistently rewarded investors, paying out more than $0.11 in total dividends per share since December 2015.
Interestingly, Dicker Data has declared a dividend of $0.0385 today, to be paid this month.
The company had a strong cash balance of $21 million as at 30 June 2016.
