Rision Ltd (ASX:RNL) has developed a new time and attendance tool called ‘ClockOn’ to allow staff to clock on and off from work using their mobile phone.
The new tool fits in with Rision’s existing business of providing mobile solutions for hiring and management of contingent workforces.
ClockOn has the potential to accelerate the sales of Rision products to businesses where staff work at remote and disparate locations, including in events, facilities management and healthcare.
Time and attendance tools are critical to many businesses employing shift workers that need to track the hours worked by staff.
The development cost for the first phase of the ClockOn system is about USD$35k, and beta trials of the technology are expected to begin this month.
Rision has commissioned Griffith Hack to support the filing of a provisional patent for proprietary algorithms associated with the ClockOn system, before beta trials begin.
Rision is in the process of driving a pipeline of SME and enterprise sales opportunities to demonstrate revenue potential to shareholders.
In May, the company entered a strategic partnership with food industry technology pioneer Dragontail System whose services are currently deployed across YUM! Brands Inc (NYSE:YUM) restaurants.
Contingent staffing is gaining popularity across the globe with 50% of the U.S. workforce predicted to be contingent by 2020.
