The votes are rolling in for the UK referendum, and Leave is winning with over 75% of the count done.

Even the bookmakers are scratching their heads, as they gave little chance of a Brexit.

In Sydney, gold has soared in electronic trading, while the Australian Dollar has been belted.

Spot gold has jumped 6% at US$1347 an ounce, at 2pm AEDT, Sydney, Australia.

The Australian Dollar has slumped to AUD / USD 0.736.

This prices Aussie Gold at over A$1810 an ounce.
