Arrium Ltd (ASX:ARI) said that Voluntary Administrators have been appointed to oversee the affairs of the company.
Grant Thornton has been appointed.
As previously announced, Arrium has been in discussions with its lenders following the lenders’ rejection of the recapitalisation plan for Arrium involving GSO Capital Partners LP, announced in 22 February 2016.
Arrium said that these discussions have now ceased.
