Sunrise Resources (LON:SRES) expects to gear up exploration at its Western Australian assets in the second half after recent rains and floods hampered work, it said, in latest half year results.
Both projects are being prepared for further drilling.
An additional soil sampling programme has just been completed at the Baker's gold project and a reinterpretation of airborne magnetic data has been commissioned at the Cue Diamond site, it added.
Meanwhile, at the Bay State silver project in Nevada, Sunrise has progressed the project quickly to drill permitting stage, it added.
The loss for the six months to end March was £151,540 compared to a loss of £156,479 in the same period last year.
The firm also noted that progress in bringing potential partners into projects was slow, not least due to mining equity markets, which continue to bump along at the bottom of this current cycle.
