Work continues apace at the Kiziltepe gold mine in Turkey.
Its owner and developer Ariana Resources plc (LON:AAU) has been releasing pictures to the market on an ongoing basis as the construction nears completion.
The latest images show that finishing touches are now being applied to the processing plant, while drainage channels are being dug to the tailings facility.

Earlier in the summer the company connected the project to Turkish national grid and completed construction of the crushers, the screens and the ball mills.

Ariana is employing 160 people in the construction of Kiziltepe, of which 50 have been drawn from villages in the surrounding locality.
Commissioning is now drawing very close, with first gold production expected by the end of the year.
