Lite Access Technologies Inc. (CNSX:LTE) has been selected to deliver a fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network deployment with the company's certified sales and installation partner, Total North Communications Ltd., in Yukon, Canada.
Hot on the heels of Lite’s news of a purchase order from The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, in Washington State worth C$900,000 on Tuesday (read more) and following a report on June 23 (read more), Total North has placed a subsequent order for Microduct, fibre, tools and completion of the training for Lite Access's proven air-blown fibre technology.
The pilot FTTH rollout will enable high-speed connectivity provided by Northwestel to 70 homes using the most cost-effective, timely and non-intrusive manner, namely air-blown fibre deployed using microtrench methodologies.

"Not only do we have a proven technology that is considered the solution of choice for fibre connectivity, we also have a team at Lite Access that supports and assists us going forward with any and all types of network designs as well as least invasive methods of installation," he added.
