Hydrogen power specialist ITM Power (LON:ITM) has appointed Calum McConnell as managing director of its German subsidiary.
He takes over in September and replaces Phil Doran who is relocating to Scotland with ITM.
McConnell joins from US industrial firm Parker Hannifin where most recently he was global business development manager focused on renewables and battery energy storage in the German utilities market.
Graham Cooley, ITM’s chief executive, said: "This is a key appointment for ITM Power to develop a key market for our products”.
ITM Power’s German operation has so far installed three Power-to-Gas units and won an order for a fourth 1MW unit in March this year.
