Stellar Resources (ASX: SRZ) chairman Phillip Harman increased his direct shareholding in the company with the purchase of 600,000 shares on market for a consideration of $34,850.10, or an average of about $0.058 per share.
The acquisition takes his stake up to 1,050,903 shares as well as 1 million unlisted options. Harman also has an indirect interest in 130,360 shares.
Stellar had recently increased its tin resource at the Heemskirk project in Tasmania by 49% to 71,500 tonnes of contained tin and is also progressing its Pre-Feasibility Study, which is due to be completed by the end of June 2013.
Stellar had $3.4 million in cash and $0.3 million in investments at the end of 2012.
