St George Mining (ASX: SGQ) is almost set on its quest to find nickel sulphides at its East Laverton Property in Western Australia.
Due to start drilling on 26 May at the 100% owned property in an an emerging nickel field; the company's technical team have some wraps on it, ranking it as a category one target.
The drill programme will be highly targeted looking for nickel sulphide deposits and will specifically test EM conductors identified by the ongoing EM survey.
In 2012, BHP Billiton Nickel West completed a large reconnaissance drilling programme at East Laverton under the terms of a farm‐in arrangement.
This programme delivered, identifying nickel sulphides at the project for the first time.
