Resource and Investment (ASX: RNI) has reported copper results of up to 13.8% from re-logging and re-sampling at its Wodger Prospect at Grosvenor in Western Australia’s Bryah Basin.
Grades of 5.71% and 3.97% were also returned.
Due to the limited amount of retained drilling samples in the field, the Wodger results should be to be considered akin to rock chips.
Significantly, the Wodger prospect is located 2.4 kilometres north of the recent Forrest Gimp copper-gold discovery and is on the same geological trend.
The high-grade Wodger copper results were from historic drilling samples, with the aim of identifying new areas of shallow copper mineralisation.
